The season lasts from May to the end of September, where perhaps May, June and September are the most beautiful months in terms of bird life.
Day 1
Arrival Bucharest and transfer to Resort Rasvet Sarichioi in the Danube Delta. Dinner is included.
Day 2
After a traditional and delicious breakfast, there will be a boat safari into the heart of the delta. Here you will be guided by experienced locals who will take you around the delta to the best places for bird watching and general enjoyment of Europe’s largest concentration of species and the best preserved ecosystem of the continent. All meals are included.
Day 3
Today the trip continues from Constanta in Romania to Balcic in Bulgaria, but first there will be an opportunity to enjoy the beach in Mamaia for a few hours. Before mustering on the sailboats moored in the beautiful harbor of Limanu, there will be dinner at the beautiful restaurant Lifeharbour. On board you will be greeted by Captain Andrei Petre and his crew who will give you a presentation and a thorough introduction to your task on the boat. Accommodation in cabins onboard. Breakfast, coffee and drinks in the evening are included.
Day 4
After a quiet start of the day in the harbor of the beautiful port town Balcic, we walk (5 minutes) to Queen Maria’s beautiful summer palace with a beautiful botanical garden, where there will be wine tasting of wines from local producers. After the wine tasting in beautiful surroundings, there will be transport to Dalboka mussel farm where lunch will be served at Dalboka restaurant. After lunch we will return to Balcic. The rest of the day is free at your own disposal. Accommodation on the ship.
Day 5
After breakfast in the harbor in Balcic, we turn our nose north again to Constanta and Limanu harbor. Lunch is served onboard, and after the refreshing sailing trip, the trip goes to Resort Rasvet Sarichioi in the delta. No program this evening. Lunch onboard the sailboat is included.
Day 6
Transfer to Bucharest after breakfast. Breakfast is included.
